Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lead Care Team, a Minnesota limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or work with us. It also explains the choices available to you.
When this policy applies
This policy applies to personal information we handle for our own business, including information about website visitors, prospective clients, clients, and their business contacts.
Lead Care Team also provides lead generation, website, CRM, attribution, reporting, and lead intelligence services for clients. When we handle homeowner, customer, or lead information only under a client's instructions, that client controls the information and its privacy practices. If you have a question about information you gave to one of our clients, you should contact that business first.
Information you give us
We collect information you choose to provide when you:
- submit a contact form or fit check
- request or schedule a call
- email us directly
- become a client or communicate with us about an engagement
This information may include your name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, lead volume, revenue range, marketing and sales information, service needs, account information, and anything else you include in a message or conversation.
Information collected through the website
When you use the site, we and the providers that support it may receive limited technical and usage information, including:
- IP address
- browser type and device information
- pages viewed and general site activity
- referring page, campaign, or traffic source
- the date and approximate time of a visit or form submission
We use Fathom Analytics to understand overall site traffic and performance. We also use hosting, form processing, and security providers to deliver the site and receive inquiries.
Information we handle for clients
To provide services, a client may give us access to information in its website, CRM, advertising accounts, reporting systems, or other business tools. Depending on the engagement, this may include lead and customer contact information, inquiry details, project type, service area, campaign and source data, sales status, estimate information, appointment activity, and closed-job or revenue information.
We use this information to provide the services the client requested, such as connecting inquiries to their sources, improving campaigns and websites, maintaining integrations, producing reports, and helping the client understand what happens across its lead lifecycle. Our contract with the client governs this work.
How we use your information
We use information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry
- evaluate whether our services are a fit for your business
- schedule calls and communicate with you
- prepare proposals and provide contracted services
- operate, measure, secure, and improve our website and services
- maintain business, billing, and communication records
- protect the website and prevent misuse
- comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We may share information with providers that help us run the website and business, including providers for hosting, forms, analytics, CRM, scheduling, email, communications, billing, security, advertising, and professional services. They may use the information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.
When providing client services, we may share client-controlled information with the client, its authorized tools, advertising platforms, and other providers selected or approved by the client.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect people or property, investigate misuse, enforce an agreement, or complete a financing, sale, merger, or other business transaction.
Sale, targeted advertising, and browser signals
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information collected through this website to show you ads based on your activity across unrelated websites or services.
As part of work for a client, we may send client-controlled lead or conversion information to an advertising platform under the client's instructions. The client's privacy notice and our agreement with that client govern that processing.
Because we do not currently sell personal information or use website visitor information for targeted advertising, the site does not respond differently to browser-based opt-out signals. If our practices change or applicable law requires a different response, we will update our practices and this policy.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and business contact information while an inquiry or relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep client records for the engagement and afterward as needed for billing, support, legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution. We retain or return client-controlled personal information as required by our agreement with the client.
Retention also depends on the type of information, why we collected it, the sensitivity of the information, and legal or operational requirements. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete it, deidentify it, or allow it to be removed through our normal system and backup processes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
You may contact us at hello@leadcareteam.com to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you
- request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information
- ask for a portable copy where applicable
- object to or opt out of certain processing where applicable
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may also deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when we need information to complete a transaction, maintain security, comply with law, or protect another person's rights.
If we handle the information only for a client, we may direct your request to that client. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law allows it. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal our decision, reply to our response and state that you want to appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business owners and adult decision-makers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this site.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites, tools, or social platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies directly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law.
